1. Issuer terms & conditions risk

Most credit card issuers, banks, and loyalty programs prohibit selling, buying, transferring for cash, or otherwise commercially trading reward points and miles under their terms and conditions. By using The Points Buyer, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Your card issuer or loyalty program may suspend, close, or claw back points from your account if they detect this activity.
• The Points Buyer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any bank, card network, or loyalty program.
• You are solely responsible for understanding and accepting the risk under your own program's terms before transacting.
• The Points Buyer bears no liability for any account action taken against you by a third party as a result of a transaction on this platform.

2. How orders work

The Points Buyer is not a marketplace. Every order is a direct transaction between you and the The Points Buyer operators — we are the counterparty on every trade. Rates shown at order time are locked in for that order and will not change afterward.

3. Cancellations & refunds

You may cancel an order any time before you have transferred points or sent payment, by contacting us with your reference code. Once points have been transferred to us or payment has been sent, the order cannot be reversed or refunded, except where we are unable to complete our side of the transaction — in that case, we will return what was received.

4. Your information

We collect your name, phone number, and payout details solely to process your order and contact you about it. We don't sell your data or use it for anything beyond fulfilling and supporting your order. Your order tracking page is accessible only to someone with your private tracking link.

5. Right to refuse

We may decline, pause, or cancel any order at our discretion, including if we suspect fraud, if a program is temporarily unavailable, or if quantities fall outside published limits.
